After working in education for over twenty years, I came to realise that those who achieved were those who did not allow the limiting beliefs developed from past experiences hold them back.

During my career, I have enjoyed helping people to realise their full potential and have studied and  developed a keen interest in the psychology of how people learn, motivation, and the resilience of my learners.

I have many stories of students who have absolutely amazed me by overcoming difficulties in their life to gain qualifications that they were told they could never achieve!

Using the skills I have developed in teaching and developing adult numeracy courses, a subject where many people doubt themselves, I decided to set up my coaching business as a way of reaching my full potential and to do what I LOVE BEST – empowering and enabling others to do what they want to do with their life and reach their potential.

Meet Sally

Although this has been a dream for many years, it was my realisation after challenging personal experiences, that no one’s life is perfect and we are all constantly changing and adapting behaviours so that we can move forward with our life.

My interest in how we develop a sense of self led me to the path of Buddhism, taking a four year course in the fundamental principles, and then using these to develop myself and this business.   One of the key Buddhist teachings I learned that can relate to anyone;  you can only be mindful of all those involved in any given situation, you can be aware of the effect it is having on you but cannot truly understand what is going on for the other person.  With this in mind, I finally learned that it is really okay to focus my attention on myself, something we are often afraid to do in our society.

I am excited and look forward to using my skills to enable you to move forward in your life. Change is a constant and once embraced, we can create the flexibility we need to move with this and achieve our full potential.

My first session with Sally was great.  It was like chatting with a friend except I came away feeling much clearer on what I need to be doing for my life to progress more smoothly.  Her LIMITS system really helps to put things in perspective.  I look forward to seeing you again soon and many thanks!

Three quotes that currently inspire me

We are often bombarded on social media with different ‘life quotes’ that resonate with us. I have selected three that inspire me, but any quote is only as good as how you use it. I feel that these currently illustrate my life and business, the fact that our plans and life are in a constant state of change, that we need to adapt, and that sometimes we need to accept that we need to close certain doors in order to create a new possibility.

‘We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.’ (Joseph Campbell)

‘You cannot solve a problem with the mind that created it.’ (Albert Einstein)

‘Close some doors. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because they no longer lead somewhere.’ (Jaana Uolamo)
